Car
If you are traveling by car, start by driving towards Cairns, Queensland. The most common route is via the Captain Cook Highway (A1). From Cairns, head east toward the Cairns Marina, where you will find the ferry terminal. Parking is available at the marina, but be aware that there may be fees associated with parking. Once you arrive at the Cairns Marina, purchase your ferry ticket to Green Island at the ticket counter. The ferry ride takes approximately 45 minutes, and the cost is around AUD 70 for a round trip.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from various locations in Cairns to the Cairns Central Station. From there, you can walk to the Cairns Marina, which is only a few blocks away. Make sure to check the local bus schedules for the most convenient route to the marina. After reaching the marina, purchase your ferry ticket to Green Island. The ferry costs approximately AUD 70 for a round trip and takes about 45 minutes.
Ferry
