Ferry
To reach Kanji Beach, take a ferry from Cairns to Green Island. Ferries depart from the Reef Fleet Terminal at 1 Spence Street, Cairns. Several operators offer daily transfers, with the journey taking approximately 45 minutes. A one-way ferry ticket costs around $102 AUD. Return tickets are approximately $107 AUD for adults, $54 AUD for children (4-14 years), and $274 AUD for a family of two adults and two children. Check in at the Reef Fleet Terminal to obtain your boarding pass. Parking is available near the Reef Fleet Terminal at the Pier Shopping Complex/Shangri-La Hotel, with hourly rates from $1.60 AUD. All-day parking is also available near Trinity Wharf for approximately $3 AUD. Upon arrival at Green Island, follow the pathways to Kanji Beach, a short walk from the arrival point.
