If you're traveling by car, start from Canberra. Take the Federal Highway (M23) heading towards Sydney. After roughly 30 km, take the exit toward Lake George. Follow signs for Lake George and continue along the road. Weereewa Lookout is located at Lake George, which is about 50 km from Canberra. Make sure to have a GPS enabled device to assist with navigation. Parking is available at the lookout, and there is no entry fee.
Public Transportation
For those relying on public transportation, take a train from Canberra to Queanbeyan. From Queanbeyan, you can catch a local bus heading towards Bungendore. Once you arrive at Bungendore, you may need to arrange for a taxi service to reach Weereewa Lookout. The taxi ride will take approximately 20 minutes and may cost around AUD 50-70.
