    From Rosebud, head south on Point Nepean Road, then turn onto Browns Road. Panorama Garden Estate is located on Browns Road. Limited parking is available on-site. Due to the location being a private property, the address will be emailed upon booking.

  • Public Transport

    From Melbourne, take the train to Frankston Station. From Frankston Station, take the 788 bus to Rosebud Plaza/Point Nepean Rd. From Rosebud Plaza, a taxi to Panorama Garden Estate will cost approximately $20-$30. Alternatively, take the 887 bus from Frankston Station to Mornington Peninsula Fwy/Boneo Rd. From there, a taxi to the estate is required.

Panorama Garden Estate is a privately-owned 55-acre property in Boneo, on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. It showcases 19 distinct garden areas and a wildlife sanctuary. The estate offers panoramic views stretching over 100 kilometers across Port Phillip Bay and Bass Strait. The gardens feature over 20,000 plants and 8,000 tonnes of rock, creating diverse landscapes with orchards, flowers, lakes, waterfalls, and streams. The four-acre Crater garden is a highlight, featuring over 3,000 tonnes of rock forming its expansive walls. The wildlife sanctuary is home to over 50 native and farm animals, including rare albino kangaroos, miniature goats, alpacas, and various bird species. Visitors can observe these animals roaming freely within the sanctuary. Panorama Garden Estate was established by Nick Smith, who envisioned transforming the property into a garden and wildlife haven. Over two decades, he cultivated the land, introducing diverse plant species and creating unique garden displays. The estate is open to the public on select days, offering small group tours that allow visitors to explore the gardens and interact with some of the animals. The experience provides a tranquil escape and a chance to appreciate the beauty of nature.
