Car

If you are driving, start by navigating to Albion Park Rail. From the center of Wollongong, take the Princess Highway (A1) heading south. Continue on the highway for about 15 kilometers, then take the exit toward Albion Park Rail. Follow Tongarra Road for about 2 kilometers. The Illawarra Light Railway Museum Society will be on your right at 48A Tongarra Rd, Albion Park Rail NSW 2527. There is free parking available on-site.
Public Transport - Train

To reach the Illawarra Light Railway Museum Society using public transport, take a train from Wollongong Station to Albion Park Rail Station. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes. Upon arriving at Albion Park Rail Station, walk about 1.5 kilometers down Tongarra Road to the museum. This walk will take around 20 minutes.
