Getting There

    From the Jones Beach car park, walk south along the beach towards the headland. After approximately 450m, you'll reach the rock platform leading to Cathedral Rocks. Continue for another 200m along the rock platform to reach the main rockpool and cave. Be cautious of slippery surfaces and check tide conditions before crossing any channels. Parking at Jones Beach car park is free.

  • Public Transport

    From Kiama Station, take bus 71, S176, S199, S237, or S482 towards Kiama Downs. Alight at the North Kiama Dr opp Kirama Ave bus stop, which is an 8-minute walk to Jones Beach. From there, follow the walking directions to Cathedral Rocks. A single adult bus fare in Kiama is around $2.80.

  • Driving

    From Kiama, drive north on North Kiama Drive towards Kiama Downs. Turn into Moona Avenue and then left into North Kiama Drive to find parking near Jones Beach. From the parking lot, head down to the beach and walk towards the right (south). You will need to navigate over some rocks and around the corner to reach Cathedral Rocks. Parking is free. Alternatively, for easier access to the second rockpool, drive to Cliff Drive and park there.
