Walking

If you're near Wollongong City, enjoy a scenic walk to the lighthouse. Head towards the coastline and follow the walking paths along the beach. Continue along Marine Drive until you reach Endeavour Drive. The rockpool is near the lighthouse.

Public Transport

Take a train to Wollongong Station. From there, catch bus Route 55 towards North Wollongong and get off near Endeavour Drive. It's a 10-minute walk to the lighthouse and rockpool. The free Gong Shuttle (55A and 55C) also connects the station with the city center. Check local bus schedules for accurate timings.

Taxi

From Wollongong Station, a taxi or ride-share to Wollongong Head Lighthouse Rockpool is a short ride. Expect to pay around $15-$25 AUD, depending on traffic and the specific service. Taxi stands are available at the station.

Car

From central Wollongong, head south on Crown Street towards Kembla Street, then continue onto Marine Drive. Follow Marine Drive to Endeavour Drive and turn left. The rockpool is at the end of the road. Limited parking is available near the lighthouse. Parking costs approximately $3-$5 AUD per hour, with a daily maximum of $15-$20 AUD.

Wollongong is the only place on the east coast of Australia to have two lighthouses in close proximity. The nearby Wollongong Breakwater Lighthouse was built in 1871.
