From Mount Gambier town center, head east on Commercial Street towards the Riddoch Highway/A66. Continue on A66 for approximately 2 kilometers. Turn left onto John Watson Drive. Drive for about 3 kilometers and you will find the Blue Lake Lookout on your left at 89 John Watson Dr, Mount Gambier SA 5290. There is ample parking available at the lookout.

Take the Mount Gambier Public Transport service (Bus 1 or Bus 2) from Mount Gambier town center. Get off at the stop for John Watson Drive. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the Blue Lake Lookout. Follow John Watson Drive to the southeast until you reach the lookout at 89 John Watson Dr, Mount Gambier SA 5290.
