If you are driving from Alice Springs, take the Stuart Highway (National Route 87) heading towards the north. After approximately 80 kilometers, turn onto the Larapinta Drive toward the West MacDonnell National Park. Continue on Larapinta Drive for about 30 kilometers until you reach the sign for Goyder Pass. Follow the dirt road up Goyder Pass for about 6 kilometers. Be cautious as the road can be rough in places. This will take you directly to Roma Gorge, where you can park your car in the designated area.

From Alice Springs, you can take a bus tour that covers the West MacDonnell Ranges, including Roma Gorge. Ensure that the tour you select includes a stop at Roma Gorge, as not all do.
