If you are driving, head towards Glen Helen Gorge from Alice Springs. Take the Stuart Highway (National Route 87) heading west. After about 12 kilometers, turn onto the Larapinta Drive heading towards the West MacDonnell Ranges. Continue on Larapinta Drive for approximately 100 kilometers until you reach Glen Helen Gorge. Look for signs indicating Glen Helen Lodge and Gorge, and follow the signs to the Gorge parking area. Keep in mind that there may be a parking fee at the Gorge, so have some cash ready.
