Car
From Alice Springs, head west on Larapinta Drive. Continue on Larapinta Drive for approximately 10 kilometers. You will see signs for Owen Springs Reserve. The entrance to the park is located on the left side of the road. There is no entrance fee for the reserve, but ensure your vehicle is in good condition as the dirt roads may require a 4WD in some areas.
Public Transportation
Take a bus from Alice Springs to the Larapinta Drive stop. The bus services are operated by the Alice Springs Town Council, and you can check their schedule for timings. Once you arrive at the Larapinta Drive stop, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to the entrance of Owen Springs Reserve. It is advisable to have a map or GPS to navigate the last stretch on foot, as the area may not have clear pedestrian paths.
Bicycle
For adventurous travelers, cycling to Owen Springs Reserve is a great option. Rent a bicycle in Alice Springs and head west on Larapinta Drive.
