If you're driving from Alice Springs, take the Stuart Highway (National Route 87) heading south. After around 130 km, take the exit onto Larapinta Drive. Continue for approximately 15 km until you reach the intersection with the Namatjira Drive. Turn onto Namatjira Drive and follow the signs for Point Howard Lookout. The lookout is located approximately 20 km from the intersection. There is a small parking area available at the lookout.
