Walking
From Horseshoe Bay beach, locate the trailhead sign for the Butterfly Walk. The walk is a short, easy stroll of approximately 10 minutes. Follow the marked path through the vegetation. No costs are associated with accessing the Butterfly Walk.
Public Transport
Take the 250 bus from Nelly Bay Ferry Terminal to Pacific Drive at Horseshoe Bay. From the bus stop, walk towards the beach and follow signs to the Butterfly Walk, approximately a 5-10 minute walk. A one-way bus ticket costs around $7.
Car
From Nelly Bay, take Arcadia Street north, then turn onto Horseshoe Bay Road. Follow the road for approximately 15 minutes until you reach Horseshoe Bay. Look for the entrance to the Butterfly Walk near the beach area. Parking is available, but be mindful of parking restrictions. Parking is free.
