From the Mungo Visitor Centre, follow the signs for the Mungo Self-Guided Drive. The picnic area is located along this route. Note that the roads are unsealed and can be closed after rain. Park entry fees of $8 per vehicle per day are payable at the Mungo Visitor Centre.
