Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving in Mallee, head towards Patchewollock. From the center of Mallee, take the main road towards the south. Continue for about 20 kilometers until you reach the junction with Bathgate Lane. Turn left onto Bathgate Lane and continue for approximately 5 kilometers. You will see the entrance to Explore the Mallee on your right. Make sure your vehicle has enough fuel for the trip.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Explore the Mallee using public transport, first, check the local bus schedule for services from nearby towns to Patchewollock. Once you arrive in Patchewollock, you may need to arrange a taxi or rideshare service to cover the last 5 kilometers to Explore the Mallee, as public transport may not directly service Bathgate Lane. Be sure to confirm the costs with the taxi service before the ride.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous traveler, consider cycling to Explore the Mallee. From the center of Mallee, follow the main road south for about 20 kilometers. As you reach the junction with Bathgate Lane, turn left and bike for another 5 kilometers. Make sure to wear a helmet and carry water, as the area can be remote and hot.

• Walking

  If you're feeling energetic and are staying nearby, you could walk to Explore the Mallee. Start from Patchewollock and walk south along the main road for approximately 20 kilometers. Once you reach Bathgate Lane, turn left and continue walking for another 5 kilometers. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water, as it can be a long trek.
