Note that the Fed Square plaza is cobblestoned, which may be difficult to navigate for visitors using mobility aids.

ACMI is readily accessible via Melbourne's extensive public transport network. Take any train, tram, or bus that stops at Flinders Street Station. From there, cross the street to Federation Square and follow the walking directions. A single tram fare within the city is $5.

Parking
If driving, several parking options are available near Federation Square. The Federation Square Car Park offers convenient access but can be expensive, with hourly rates starting at $6 and daily rates reaching $64. Other nearby parking garages include Wilson Parking Flinders Gate Car Park and Secure Parking Flinders Gate Car Park, both around $6 per hour. InterPark at 140 William Street offers an early bird rate of $25 if you enter before 10 am and exit after 1:30 pm. Be aware that parking availability can be limited, especially during peak hours and events.
