From the Melbourne CBD, head to Flinders Street Station. Purchase a ticket to Brighton Beach Station on the Sandringham Line. Board the train and enjoy the scenic ride, which takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Brighton Beach Station, exit the station and turn left onto Bay Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the Esplanade, where you will turn right and walk towards the beach.

From the CBD, you can take Bus 246 from the Southern Cross Station. This bus heads toward Brighton and will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Ride the bus until you reach the Brighton Beach stop. Once you disembark, head towards the Esplanade and walk along it towards the north until you reach the iconic Brighton Bathing Boxes.

Take Tram Route 64 from Melbourne CBD (you can catch it from the corner of Elizabeth St and La Trobe St). Stay on the tram until you reach the stop at Brighton. You will then need to walk about 15 minutes towards the Esplanade. After disembarking, head to the Esplanade and follow it along the coastline until you reach the Brighton Bathing Boxes.
