Public Transport - Tram

From Melbourne's city center, head to the closest tram stop, which is located on Swanston Street. Take Tram Number 48 or 75 heading towards North Balwyn or Vermont South, respectively. Alight at the 'Jolimont' stop. From there, walk east along Wellington Parade for about 10 minutes until you reach the entrance of Fitzroy Gardens. Cooks' Cottage is located within the gardens.

Public Transport - Train

Make your way to Flinders Street Station, the main train station in Melbourne. Take the train on the ‘Lilydale’ or ‘Belgrave’ line and get off at 'Jolimont Station'.
