Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from Flinders Street Station, exit the station and head towards the Federation Square. Cross the Yarra River using the pedestrian bridge at the south side of the square. Once across, walk towards the city center along Swanston Street until you reach Little Bourke Street. Turn left onto Little Bourke Street and continue walking until you reach Chinatown Plaza at 104-106 Little Bourke St. The Dr. Sun Yat Sen Statue is located within this plaza.

• Tram

  From the Melbourne CBD, you can take any tram that runs along Swanston Street. Get on any tram heading towards the south (look for routes 1, 3, 5, 6, 16, 64, or 67). Get off at the stop named 'Swanston St/Bourke St' or 'Swanston St/Latrobe St'. From there, walk north along Bourke Street until you reach Little Bourke Street. Turn right onto Little Bourke Street and walk until you reach Chinatown Plaza at 104-106 Little Bourke St, where the Dr. Sun Yat Sen Statue is located.

• Train

  If you are coming from outside Melbourne, take a train to Flinders Street Station, the main hub of the city. Upon exiting the station, follow the walking directions provided above towards Chinatown Plaza. Alternatively, you can take a train to Melbourne Central Station, exit, and walk towards Swanston Street, then follow the same tram directions from Swanston Street to reach the statue.

• Bus

  If you are near a bus stop in Melbourne, check for any buses heading towards the city center. Alight at a stop close to the CBD, such as 'Bourke St/Queen St'. From there, walk down Bourke Street towards Little Bourke Street. Turn right onto Little Bourke Street and walk until you reach Chinatown Plaza at 104-106 Little Bourke St, home to the Dr. Sun Yat Sen Statue.
