From the Melbourne CBD, head to the nearest tram stop. Take tram number 1 or 8 from Swanston St. towards South Melbourne. Alight at the 'Domain Interchange' stop, which is located at the intersection of St Kilda Road and Domain Road. From there, walk along Domain Road heading south until you reach Alexandra Avenue.
Train and Walk
Catch a train from Flinders Street Station on the Sandringham line and alight at the 'Richmond' station. From Richmond station, exit onto Bridge Road and walk east towards the Yarra River. Once you reach the river, turn left and walk along the riverbank until you reach Alexandra Avenue. Kings Domain will be directly ahead.
Bus
Take bus number 246 from the Melbourne CBD (stop 1A on Collins Street) towards Elwood. Alight at 'Alexandra Avenue' stop. From the bus stop, walk towards the river and you will see the entrance to Kings Domain right in front of you.
Walking
If you are already near the Yarra River, you can walk to Kings Domain by following the riverbank south. Look for paths that lead you through the gardens and parks along the river. The entrance to Kings Domain is located at Alexandra Avenue, which is marked by signage.
