If you are in the Melbourne CBD, head to the nearest tram stop and catch tram number 3, 5, 6, 16, 64, or 67 towards St Kilda or Brighton. Ride for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Domain Interchange'. From the tram stop, walk down St Kilda Road for about 5 minutes, and you will see the Shrine of Remembrance on your left, located at Birdwood Ave.

You can also take bus number 246 from Flinders Street Station. Board the bus and enjoy the ride for about 20 minutes until you reach 'St Kilda Rd/Birdwood Ave' bus stop. Once you get off, the Shrine of Remembrance will be directly in front of you, just a short walk across Birdwood Avenue.

If you are near the Botanic Gardens, you can take a pleasant walk to the Shrine of Remembrance. Start from the entrance of the Royal Botanic Gardens and head north towards Birdwood Ave. It will take you about 15 minutes on foot. Follow the path leading out of the gardens, and you will arrive at the Shrine of Remembrance, located at Birdwood Ave.

For those who prefer cycling, there are bike lanes along St Kilda Road. You can rent a bike from a nearby bike-sharing service and ride towards the Shrine. If you are starting from the CBD, follow the bike path along St Kilda Road for about 15-20 minutes, and the Shrine of Remembrance will be on your left at Birdwood Ave.
