From Melbourne CBD, take tram routes 3a, 16, or 96 directly to Luna Park/The Esplanade. These trams can be boarded from major city train stations like Flinders Street and Southern Cross. A single fare Myki card is required, costing around $5. Alternatively, take the train to Balaclava Station on the Sandringham line, then transfer to tram 16 to Luna Park.

Walking

If you are near St Kilda Beach or the Palais Theatre, Luna Park is a short walk along the Esplanade. From St Kilda Pier, head east along Pier Road, then turn left onto the Esplanade. Continue north; Luna Park will be on your left. The walk is generally flat and takes about 10-15 minutes.
