Car
If you're driving from Coffs Harbour, take the Pacific Highway (A1) south for approximately 60 km. Take the exit toward Hat Head Road. Follow Hat Head Road for about 20 km until you reach the entrance of Hat Head National Park at Hat Head Rd, Hat Head NSW 2440. There are no entrance fees to the park, and ample parking is available.
Public Transportation
For those using public transport, take a bus from Coffs Harbour to Kempsey. From Kempsey, you will need to catch a local bus or arrange a taxi to take you to Hat Head. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may not run frequently. Once you reach Hat Head, the park entrance is a short walk from the main road.
Taxi or Rideshare
If you prefer a direct route, consider using a taxi or rideshare service like Uber. Simply input 'Hat Head National Park' as your destination. This option provides the convenience of door-to-door service, especially if you're coming from nearby towns or attractions.
