Car
If you are driving, start by heading to the main roads leading to Sorrento in Mornington Peninsula. From Melbourne, take the M1 freeway towards Frankston. Merge onto the Peninsula Link (M11) and follow the signs for Sorrento. Once in Sorrento, look for Diamond Bay Road. Turn onto Diamond Bay Road, and you will find the entrance to Diamond Bay on your left. Parking is available along the road, but be mindful of local parking regulations.
Public Transport
To reach Diamond Bay using public transport, take a train from Melbourne to Frankston Station. From Frankston, catch the bus number 788 towards Sorrento. The bus will take you directly to Sorrento. Once you arrive in Sorrento, you can either walk (approximately 30 minutes) or catch a local taxi to Diamond Bay. If you choose to walk, head towards Diamond Bay Road from the bus stop, and follow the road until you reach Diamond Bay.
Walking
If you are already in Sorrento and prefer to walk, simply find your way to Diamond Bay Road. From the town center, it's about a 30-minute walk. Follow Ocean Beach Road towards the coast, then turn left onto Diamond Bay Road. The path will lead you directly to Diamond Bay, where you can enjoy the scenic views. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes as the walk may involve some inclines.
