From the main entrance of Mount Field National Park, head southeast on Lake Dobson Road. Follow this road for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the junction with Maydena Road. Turn right onto Maydena Road. Continue on Maydena Road for about 12 kilometers. You will pass through the small town of Maydena. Keep an eye out for Eagles Eyrie on your left, shortly after passing the Maydena area. Look for the signs indicating the entrance.

If you are using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Hobart to the nearest town, which is Maydena. There are several services available, but be sure to check the current schedules. Once you arrive at the Maydena bus stop, you will need to arrange a taxi or rideshare service to get to Eagles Eyrie, as it is not within walking distance from the bus stop. The taxi ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes and may cost around AUD 20-30.
