From the main entrance of Mount Field National Park, head south on Mount Field Road. Continue for approximately 6 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Gordon River Road. Turn left onto Gordon River Road and drive for about 7 kilometers until you reach the town of Maydena. Once in Maydena, follow signs to Junee Cave State Reserve, which is located approximately 5 kilometers from the town center. The reserve is well-signposted, and the drive will take you through scenic landscapes typical of Tasmania. There is no entry fee for the reserve.

Take a bus from Hobart to Maydena. The bus departs from the Hobart bus terminal, and you will need to check the schedule for the latest departure times. Once you arrive in Maydena, you can either walk or take a taxi to Junee Cave State Reserve, which is approximately 5 kilometers away from the town.
