From the main entrance of Mount Field National Park, head south on Mount Field Road. Continue for approximately 6 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Gordon River Road. Turn left onto Gordon River Road and drive for about 7 kilometers until you reach the town of Maydena. Once in Maydena, follow signs to Junee Cave State Reserve, which is located approximately 5 kilometers from the town center. The reserve is well-signposted, and the drive will take you through scenic landscapes typical of Tasmania. There is no entry fee for the reserve.

Take a bus from Hobart to Maydena. The bus departs from the Hobart bus terminal, and you will need to check the schedule for the latest departure times.
