Car
If you are driving from the Mount Field National Park Visitor Centre, head southeast on Lake Dobson Road. Continue for about 10 km until you reach the intersection with the Gordon River Road. Turn left onto Gordon River Road and follow it for approximately 15 km. After this, turn right onto Tarraleah Road. Continue on Tarraleah Road for about 5 km until you see the signs for Tarraleah Falls. The parking area is available on the left side.

Public Transportation
Take a bus from the Mount Field National Park Visitor Centre to the nearest town, New Norfolk. From New Norfolk, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach Tarraleah Falls, as public transportation does not directly access the falls. The taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes and will cost around AUD 70-90, depending on the company and time of day.

Hiking
If you are already in the vicinity of Tarraleah Falls and are interested in hiking, you can access the falls from a nearby trail. Starting from the car park area, follow the marked walking trail that leads to the falls. The hike is approximately 1.5 km one way and takes about 30-45 minutes depending on your pace. Make sure to wear suitable footwear and carry enough water.
