Car
From Mount Field National Park, head southeast on Gordon River Rd/A10 towards Molesworth. Continue on this road for approximately 45 km until you reach the junction with the B61 highway. Turn right onto B61 and follow it for about 30 km until you see signs for Douglas-Apsley National Park. Turn left onto Douglas-Apsley Rd and continue for about 10 km, and you will arrive at the park entrance.

Public Transportation
From Mount Field National Park, you will need to take a public bus to Hobart first. Look for the bus service that connects to the Hobart public transport system. Once in Hobart, take a bus heading to St Marys. When you reach St Marys, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to the Douglas-Apsley National Park entrance, as public transport does not go directly to the park. Be sure to check the local bus schedules for exact times and any transfer requirements.
