If you are already in Mount Field National Park, head towards the main park road. Follow the signs to Mount Field West. Drive approximately 10 kilometers along the main road until you reach the turn-off for Mount Field West. This turn-off is well-marked. Continue down this gravel road for about 2 kilometers until you reach the parking area at the end of the road. The journey should take around 15-20 minutes depending on road conditions.

To reach Mount Field West using public transportation, you need to take a bus to the town of New Norfolk from Hobart.
