    If you are driving, start from the Mount Field National Park entrance on Lake Dobson Road. Head west towards Mount Field W Track. Continue along Lake Dobson Road until you reach the junction with Mount Field W Track. Turn left onto Mount Field W Track. The Rodway Range trailhead is approximately 8 km along this track. There is no specific parking area at the trailhead, but you can park your car along the side of the road, ensuring you are not blocking any access points.

    Public Transportation

    If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Hobart to the Mount Field National Park. The bus service operates regularly, but check the current schedule as it may vary. Once you arrive at the Mount Field National Park, you will need to walk from the bus stop to the trailhead. Head towards Lake Dobson Road and follow it until you reach the junction with Mount Field W Track, approximately 1.5 km from the bus stop. Turn left onto Mount Field W Track and continue for about 8 km to reach the Rodway Range.

    Hiking

    Once you reach the Rodway Range trailhead, you will need to hike to the summit. The hike is approximately 6 km one way and is considered moderate to challenging.
