Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Hobart and take the Southern Outlet (A6) towards Mount Wellington. Continue on A6 for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the Fern Tree area. From Fern Tree, turn onto the Huon Road (A6) and look for signs directing you to the Mount Wellington Summit. Drive up the mountain road until you reach the parking area near the start of the Cathedral Rock Track. Note that parking may be limited, especially on weekends, so plan accordingly.

If you're using public transportation, catch a bus from the Hobart City Bus Station to Fern Tree. Buses such as the 446 or 447 run regularly from the city center to Fern Tree. Upon arrival at Fern Tree, you will need to walk approximately 2 kilometers to reach the beginning of the Cathedral Rock Track. Follow the signs along the Fern Tree Trail until you find the track entrance. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary, especially on weekends.
