Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards Myrtle Gully Track, Wellington Park TAS 7054. From the center of Mount Wellington, take Davey Street towards the south. Continue on Davey Street until it becomes Huon Road. Follow this road for approximately 6 km until you see the turn-off for the Myrtle Gully Track on your right. There is limited parking available at the start of the track, so be sure to arrive early during peak times.
Public Transportation
To reach Myrtle Gully Falls via public transportation, take Metro Tasmania bus route 446 from the city center (Elizabeth Street Bus Mall). The bus runs several times a day. Disembark at the stop for Huon Road near the Myrtle Gully Track. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to the track entrance. Follow Huon Road and look for the signs directing you to Myrtle Gully Falls. Ensure you check the bus schedule in advance for the most up-to-date timings.
Walking
If you're already at the base of Mount Wellington and prefer to walk, you can follow the Myrtle Gully Track trailhead which is accessible from the Huon Road area. The track itself is well-marked and will lead you through scenic landscapes towards the falls. Be prepared for a moderate hike, as parts of the track may be steep and uneven. The walk to Myrtle Gully Falls takes approximately 30 minutes one way.
