The journey is approximately 8 kilometers and should take around 15 minutes by car.

To reach Silver Falls via public transport, start at the nearest bus stop in Mount Wellington. Board the Metro Tasmania bus route 446 towards South Hobart. Get off at the stop for Wellington Park. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers along Silver Falls Track to reach the falls. The bus fare is around AUD 4.00 for a single trip, and the journey should take about 30 minutes, including walking time.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity and prefer to walk, you can access the Silver Falls Track directly from the nearby parking areas in Wellington Park. The trailhead is well-marked, and the walk to the falls is approximately 3 kilometers one way, taking about 1 hour. The track is relatively easy, but be prepared for some uneven terrain.
