Car
If you're driving, start from the central area of Mount Wellington. Head towards the direction of the Mount Wellington lookout. Follow Huon Road (A6) and continue until you reach the Pinnacle Road junction. Turn onto Pinnacle Road and follow the signs to the summit. You will find parking available near the summit. From there, Walk on kunanyi is accessible via well-marked trails.
Public Transportation
To reach Walk on kunanyi using public transport, catch a bus from Hobart city center (20 Davey St, Hobart TAS 7000) to the Mount Wellington area. Look for buses heading towards the Mountain or the route 446. Once you arrive at the last stop, follow the signs to the walking trails leading to the summit. The bus fare is approximately AUD 4.00 one way, and ensure to check the timetables for the latest schedules.
Walking/Biking from Parking
Once you’ve parked your car at the summit area of Mount Wellington, you can easily access Walk on kunanyi by following the clearly marked walking paths.
