If you're driving from Armidale, take the New England Highway (A15) south towards Newcastle. After approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, take the exit onto the M1 Pacific Motorway towards Sydney. Continue for about 30 minutes then take the exit toward Cessnock. Follow the signs to Cessnock and then take the Great North Road (B59) towards Laguna. After about 30 minutes on B59, you will reach Big Yengo, the entrance to Yengo National Park.
