Discover more about Paradise Botanical Gardens

Nestled in the picturesque hinterland of the Central Coast, north of Mangrove Mountain, Paradise Botanical Gardens offers a tranquil escape spread across 220 acres of native bushland and cultivated gardens. Established over 50 years ago, the gardens are renowned for their spectacular collection of flowering plants, including camellias, roses, and lavender. The aboriginal meaning of Kulnura is “up in the clouds” and at 370m above sea level, the air is pure, the land pristine, and the climate perfect. Visitors can explore majestic trees, rare and unusual plant specimens sourced from around the globe, and interesting landscape features such as stone walls and meandering pathways. The gardens also host a colony of monkeys and offer plenty of picnic areas. Once known as 'Paradise Plants', the gardens were created by Mr. Bob Cherry in the early 1970s. Today, Paradise Botanical Gardens operates independently, welcoming visitors to explore its diverse flora and serene atmosphere. The gardens are open to the public at certain times throughout the year and are available for weddings, functions and other events by appointment. For a unique experience, consider spending a night in the rustic farmhouse, a 'glamping' tent, or bring your own tent for a full camping experience.
