Car
From Sydney, take the Eastern Distributor (M1) heading towards Bondi. Continue on M1 until you reach the exit for Moore Park. Merge onto Moore Park Road and follow it until you reach the roundabout at Oxford Street. Take the second exit onto Oxford Street, which will turn into New South Head Road. Continue on New South Head Road until you reach Old South Head Road. Turn left onto Old South Head Road, and you will find Macquarie Lighthouse on your right. Be prepared to find parking along Old South Head Road.
Public Transportation
From Sydney Central Station, take the train on the Eastern Suburbs Line to Bondi Junction. At Bondi Junction, transfer to Bus 387 (heading towards Vaucluse). Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at Old South Head Road. From there, it's a short walk to Macquarie Lighthouse, which is located at Old South Head Road, Vaucluse. Ensure you check the bus schedule, as frequency may vary, and be prepared for a bus fare (approximately AUD $3.50).
