Car
From Ningaloo Reef, head south on Exmouth-Mardathuna Road towards Exmouth. Continue on this road until you reach the town of Exmouth. Once in Exmouth, take the main street towards the coast, which becomes Murat Road. Follow Murat Road until you hit the roundabout, then take the second exit onto Bundegi Road. Continue on Bundegi Road until you reach the North West Coastal Highway. Turn right onto the highway and head south. Follow the signs for the town of Carnarvon, which is about a 2-hour drive. In Carnarvon, take the South River Road exit and follow signs for the Carnarvon Airport. After passing through Carnarvon, continue driving towards Perth for approximately another 7 hours until you reach the city. Once in Melbourne, navigate to the CBD and follow signs to Exhibition Street where the Melbourne Marriott Hotel is located.

Public Transportation
From Ningaloo Reef, take a bus to Exmouth. The bus station is located near the main accommodation areas. Purchase a ticket for Exmouth and board the bus. Once you arrive in Exmouth, you can take another bus service that connects to Carnarvon. In Carnarvon, switch to a coach service that travels to Perth. Make sure to check the schedules in advance as they may not run frequently. Upon reaching Perth, take a train from the Perth train station to Melbourne, which is the longest leg of the journey. After arriving in Melbourne, use the local tram or taxi services to get to Exhibition Street, where the Melbourne Marriott Hotel is situated.
