Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From Noosa Junction, take the Sunshine Coast bus route to Coolum Beach. Look for the 'Sunshine Coast Bus' stop near the shopping center. Make sure to board the bus heading towards Coolum Beach. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Coolum Beach stop on the David Low Way. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to Emu Mountain. Head south on David Low Way, then turn right onto Suncoast Beach Drive. Continue straight until you reach the entrance to Emu Mountain Park.

  • Walking

    If you are staying in Noosa Heads, you can enjoy a scenic walk to Emu Mountain. Start your journey by walking towards Noosa National Park, heading south along the coastal path. Continue along the coastline until you reach Coolum Beach. Once at Coolum Beach, follow the same route as described above: walk along David Low Way and turn right onto Suncoast Beach Drive, then proceed to Emu Mountain Park. This walk will take approximately 2 to 2.5 hours, depending on your pace.

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike in Noosa and head towards Coolum Beach via the coastal paths. Start at Noosa Heads and ride along the Noosa River towards the southern end.
