Bus
From Noosa Heads, walk to the Noosa Junction bus stop. Catch the Sunshine Coast bus route 631 towards Nambour. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes and get off at the Reesville Road stop. From there, walk along Reesville Road for about 1.5 kilometers to reach Howells Knob Lookout. The path may be hilly, so be prepared for some elevation.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Noosa. Start your ride from Hastings Street and head towards Noosa Junction. From Noosa Junction, take the road towards Reesville Road. Follow Reesville Road uphill for about 3 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signage leading to Howells Knob Lookout. The ride is scenic but can be steep in parts.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous, you can walk from Noosa Heads. Start at the Noosa National Park entrance and follow the coastal trail to the end. Then, head towards Noosa Junction and follow signs to Reesville Road. It's a long trek of about 8 kilometers, so wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water. The path is mostly along roads, and you will enjoy beautiful views along the way.
