Walking
Start at Noosa Main Beach. Head north along the beachfront promenade towards Hastings Street. Continue walking until you reach the Noosa National Park entrance at the end of the beach. Enter the park and follow the signs for the Coastal Track. This scenic walk will take you through beautiful bushland and along the coastline. Follow the Coastal Track for approximately 3.5 kilometers, enjoying the views of the ocean and the wildlife. When you reach the end of the Coastal Track, you will come to the park exit. From here, take a left onto Noosa Drive and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Gympie Terrace. Cross the road and continue towards Noosa Junction. Once you reach Noosa Junction, you can take a local bus to Maleny, but ensure to check the bus schedules ahead of time.

Public Transport
From Noosa Junction, find the bus stop for the local service heading to Maleny. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride, which will take approximately 40 minutes. Once in Maleny, ask the driver to let you off near Mountain View Road. From the bus stop, walk along Mountain View Road for about 1 kilometer until you see the signs for McCarthy's Lookout on your left. If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike at one of the local rental shops in Noosa. Start at Noosa Main Beach and bike towards Noosa National Park.
