Getting there

Walking

If you are starting from Noosa Main Beach, walk along Hastings Street towards the Noosa National Park entrance. Once you reach the park, follow the coastal track signs leading to Alexandria Bay. Continue along the path until you reach the end of the track, where you will find the pathway leading to Noosa Spit Recreation Reserve. This route is scenic and will take approximately 30 minutes.

Public Transport

From Noosa Junction, catch the local bus towards Noosa Heads. Get off at the stop near Hastings Street. From there, follow Hastings Street to the Noosa National Park entrance, and then follow the coastal track as described above. The bus ride should take around 15 minutes, and the walk from the bus stop to the reserve will take an additional 30 minutes.

Biking

If you have access to a bicycle rental, start from Noosa Main Beach and head towards Noosa National Park. Follow the bike path along the coast, which will lead you to the entrance of the park. Once inside, continue to follow the path towards Alexandria Bay, and then look for the signs directing you to Noosa Spit Recreation Reserve. This biking route is approximately 10-15 minutes.

Taxi or Rideshare

For a more direct route, you can call a taxi or use a rideshare service like Uber. Simply provide the driver with the address: Claude Batten Dr, Noosa Heads QLD 4567. The drive from Noosa Junction should take about 10 minutes, and you will be dropped off close to the entrance of the Noosa Spit Recreation Reserve.
