If you are starting from Port Augusta, take the Augusta Highway (A1) heading north. After about 40 kilometers, you will reach the junction with the Eyre Highway (A1). Turn left onto the Eyre Highway and continue for approximately 26 kilometers until you reach the town of Kimba. From Kimba, turn right onto the Gawler Ranges Road and follow this road for about 50 kilometers. This road will lead you directly to the entrance of Gawler Ranges National Park. Make sure to check your fuel levels, as there are limited services along the way.
