Drive to the Townsville Ferry Terminal located at 1/2 Flinders Street, Townsville City QLD 4810. The ferry ride to Magnetic Island takes about 20-30 minutes and costs approximately AUD 30-40 return per adult. Upon arriving at Magnetic Island, follow the main road to Horseshoe Bay, which is about a 15-minute drive from the ferry terminal. Look for signage directing you to the Forts Walk, which starts at the Forts Junction. There is ample parking available at Horseshoe Bay.
