If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major town, Tweed Heads. Head south on the Pacific Highway (M1) and take the exit for Tweed Heads South. Follow the signs to Fingal Head, merging onto Fingal Head Road. Continue until you reach the roundabout and take the second exit onto Fingal Head Road, which will lead you directly to Fingal Head. Once you reach Fingal Head, follow the road until you arrive at the Fingal Head Causeway parking area, where you can find spaces to park your vehicle. Note that some areas may have parking fees, so be sure to check for signage regarding costs.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Tweed Heads to Fingal Head. Check the local bus schedule for routes that stop near Fingal Head. The closest bus stop to Fingal Head Causeway is located on Fingal Head Road. Once you arrive at the bus stop, you will need to walk approximately 10-15 minutes to reach the causeway. Follow Fingal Head Road towards the coast, and you will find the causeway leading to the beach and scenic views.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Tweed Heads and ride to Fingal Head. From Tweed Heads, head south along the cycle paths towards Fingal Head. The ride is approximately 7 km and will take you through scenic areas. Follow the signs to Fingal Head, and upon arriving, you can lock your bike near the causeway. Ensure that you wear a helmet and follow local cycling laws.
