Getting There

• Car

  From Byron Bay, head north on Jonson Street and turn left onto Ewingsdale Road. Continue on Ewingsdale Road, passing through the roundabout until you reach the Pacific Highway (A1). Merge onto the Pacific Highway (A1) heading north. After approximately 10 km, take the exit toward Bangalow. Follow the signs for Bangalow and turn left onto Bangalow Road (B62). Continue on Bangalow Road for about 5 km, then turn right onto Palm Valley Road. Follow Palm Valley Road to reach the destination at Brooke Dr, Byron Bay. There is no parking fee at Palm Valley, but ensure to check for any local parking restrictions.

  From Byron Bay, take the local bus service (Route 640) towards Mullumbimby. The bus departs from the Byron Bay Bus Terminal. You will need to alight at the nearest stop to Palm Valley, which is on Ewingsdale Road near the intersection with Palm Valley Road. The bus fare is approximately $3.50 AUD one way. From there, you may need to walk about 1 km along Palm Valley Road to reach the picnic area at Brooke Dr, Byron Bay. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as services may be limited.
