    From the center of Tweed Heads, head northwest on Wharf St toward Bay St. Continue onto Frances St, then turn right onto Kennedy Dr. Follow Kennedy Dr until you reach the T-intersection with the Pacific Hwy (A1). Turn left onto the Pacific Hwy (A1) and continue for about 2 km. Take the exit toward Tweed Heads/Coolangatta and merge onto Tweed Heads Bypass. Continue straight for about 1 km, then take the exit toward Captain Cook Memorial and Lighthouse. Follow the signs to the memorial which is located at the end of Lighthouse Parade.

    From the Tweed Heads Bus Station, take Bus Route 600 towards Coolangatta. Stay on the bus for about 10 minutes and alight at the stop near the Tweed River. From there, walk north along the riverfront for about 15 minutes, crossing the bridge. Continue straight onto Lighthouse Parade following signs for the Captain Cook Memorial and Lighthouse, which will be on your right.
