From Port Douglas, head to the nearest bus stop located on Macrossan Street. Look for the bus service to Kuranda, which is operated by the local transport company. Buses typically run several times a day, so be sure to check the schedule. Once you board the bus, enjoy the scenic ride to Kuranda. The bus will drop you off at the main bus stop in Kuranda. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to Kuranda Koala Gardens. Head southeast on Kuranda Main Street, then turn left onto Rob Veivers Drive. The gardens will be on your right at 2/4 Rob Veivers Dr.

You can also opt for a shuttle service from Port Douglas to Kuranda. Many tour companies offer round-trip shuttle services that will take you directly to Kuranda Koala Gardens.
