Walking
From the center of Port Douglas, head east along Macrossan Street. Continue walking until you reach the end of the street where it intersects with Wharf Street. Turn left onto Wharf Street and follow it until you reach the end, where you will see the entrance to the Flagstaff Hill Walking Trail. The trail starts near the beach, and you can easily spot the signs indicating the path to the walking trail.
Public Transport
Catch the local bus service from any major stop in Port Douglas that heads towards the Four Mile Beach area. Ask the driver to drop you off at the closest stop to Flagstaff Hill. Once you get off, head towards the beach, and you will find the Flagstaff Hill Walking Trail entrance near the beach access point.
Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, start from the center of Port Douglas and ride along Macrossan Street towards Four Mile Beach.
