Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Port Douglas Village Centre, head south on Macrossan Street. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Wharf Street. Turn right onto Wharf Street and continue walking until you reach the end of the street, where it meets the beach. From there, turn left and walk along the beach promenade. Continue walking along the beach for approximately 1 kilometer, enjoying the views. When you reach the end of the promenade, turn right onto Davidson Street. Keep walking straight for another 300 meters until you see Reef Anchor House on your left.

• Public Transport

  From the Port Douglas Village Centre, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Macrossan Street. Take the local bus service towards Mossman. Inform the driver that you are going to Reef Anchor House, and they will drop you off at a nearby stop. From the drop-off point, walk approximately 200 meters south on Davidson Street, and you will find Reef Anchor House on your left.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Port Douglas. Start your journey from the rental shop and head south on Macrossan Street. Continue straight until you reach Wharf Street; turn right and follow the street to the beach. Once at the beach, turn left and cycle along the promenade for about 1 kilometer. When you reach the end of the promenade, turn right onto Davidson Street and cycle straight for about 300 meters. Reef Anchor House will be on your left.
